Scales of Resonance

Part 1. Scales of Resonance. Measure, Balance and Living Equilibrium

Scales of Resonance — measure, choice and purity of response

Scales of Resonance

Scales of Resonance is a sphere in which a person learns to feel measure not as a rule, but as a living inner sense of equilibrium.

Here there are no universal norms and no identical solutions for everyone.
There is only the state of the system, in which everything either sounds in agreement or begins to move into distortion.

Measure as a Living Feeling

Measure is not determined in advance and is not assigned from outside.
It is not equal to an instruction and cannot be reduced to quantity or limitation.

Rather, measure is like the feeling of salt in food: it cannot be explained precisely, yet it can be clearly sensed.

Salt can be different, and the same spoonful may make the taste either alive or ruined.
In life as well, one and the same action may be appropriate or excessive depending on the state of the system.

Measure as Place and Time

In addition, measure always includes not only “how much,” but also “where” and “when.”

What is appropriate in one state of life may be destructive in another.
As the saying goes, what is allowed to Jupiter is not allowed to the bull, and every cricket knows its own perch — this is not about hierarchy, but about appropriateness and context.

Therefore, measure is not only proportionality, but also timeliness.

Taste as an Indicator of Balance

Taste for life is the most delicate indicator of measure.
When a person feels measure, life becomes rich and alive.
Once measure is disturbed, taste becomes dulled, even if there is more of everything.
Without doubt, many people perceive taste as intensification — more spices, more impressions, more events.
In reality, however, the refinement of taste happens in the opposite way — through reducing what is excessive and returning sensitivity.

Oversaturation and Loss of Sensitivity

Modern people often find themselves in a state of oversaturation: food, things, information, music, events and impressions become excessive.
In such a state, the receptors of life stop distinguishing subtle shades.
Then even what once brought joy begins to seem “ordinary.”
Not because the world has become less alive, but because the sensitivity of the system is overloaded.

Part 2. Violation of Measure and Inner Imbalance

When Measure Is Disturbed

When measure is disturbed, the system stops holding equilibrium.
This may appear in different ways: in the body as fatigue or discomfort, in the psyche as anxiety or depression, and in life as a loss of stability and clarity.

From this point of view, crises and states of inner tension are often a signal of disturbed balance, not simply a person’s “mistake.”

Judgment as Restoration of Equilibrium

Earlier, this sphere could have been called “judgments,” and there is an important meaning in this.
Judgment is not punishment and not an assessment of personality.
In a deeper sense, it is a process in which the system tries to restore equilibrium.
Then a natural question arises: if there is “judgment,” then who is the judge?
In a living system, reality itself performs the role of “judge” — through consequences, the state of the body, the feeling of stability and decay.

Each Person’s Personal Measure

Every person has their own measure.
It is not identical and not fixed.
Personal measure is determined by sensitivity to overload, experience, the state of the body and inner balance.
Therefore, one and the same situation may be either resourceful or destructive for different people.

The Principle of Scales of Resonance

Scales of Resonance show not rightness or wrongness, but the state of coordination within the system.
If there is resonance, the system is alive and stable.
When distortion appears, the system begins to seek restoration of balance.

Scales of Resonance is a sphere in which a person learns to feel measure rather than calculate it, and to recognize overload rather than ignore it.
It teaches one to preserve the taste for life through refinement and to see balance as a living process, not as a rule.
